About The Football Association

The Football Association (FA) is the National Governing Body for football in the UK.

Football is widely considered to be the most popular sport in the world. The beautiful game is England's national sport.

It's fast, skilful, fun and open to everyone. Most of us have kicked a football around at some point. One of the real beauties of the game is that it can be a sport for life. Friends and children in the park, jumpers for goalposts. Its free, fund and one of the best ways to keep fit and healthy.

The FA, the governing body of football in England, is responsible for developing and regulating the game at all levels from international football to the grassroots.

There are six international disability squads, one for each specific impairment. These squads represent England in friendly internationals as well as in European and World Championships.

Budweiser Club Futures

£50,000 to £100,000

The programme aims to help clubs become more financially sustainable and play a bigger role in their local community. This is aimed at Football Clubs (non –league clubs in steps 5-7) with funding available between £50,000 to £100,000.

The FA Skills is a unique football coaching programme that gives 5-11s of all abilities the opportunity to get active, learn new football skills and enjoy the game.

Football Mash is an exciting opportunity for 14-16 year olds that runs after school on school or community sites that young people can come along to with their mates.

TEAM19 is a free national intra-college football programm

The FA Mars Just Play! gives the casual footballer a chance to just turn up to a venue and play football.
