Thurrock Yacht Club is a small and friendly yacht club based at Grays in Essex, on the Northern shores of the Thames. The club's purpose is to promote sailing in Thurrock.

We offer a number of boating and sailing activities on the Thames, including cruising and racing.
Mooring and boat storage facilities are available to members.

We go out of our way to be inclusive and our racing fleet is largely comprised of cruising boats who sail under white sails. We use the BYRON rating system to ensure fair racing for all, and we sail to RYA rules. We believe that keeping it simple keeps it fun!

We are also open to new members who are yet to own their own boat. Frequently skippers are looking for keen club members to crew in the race series. This is a great way to gain experience and also see what style of vessel would suit your boating needs.

We offer different membership packages to meet different needs. We develop programmes to increase participation in boating and sailing.
